Joe Beard has played with the likes of Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Ernest Scruggs, and BB King. Born in Ashland, Mississippi, Beard moved to Rochester in 1957, befriending classic blues guitarist Son House and playing at Rochester’s famed BK Lounge. Joe has played many major festivals in the US and Europe and was inducted to the Rochester Music Hall Of Fame in 2017.
